Hickory Golfers Queensland Inc. at the Fortinet Australian PGA Championship at Royal Queensland Golf Club
The Fortinet Australian PGA Championship was held at Royal Queensland Golf Club on 24 to 27 November 2022.
Hickory Golfers Queensland Inc took the opportunity to promote the Association and hickory golf generally. Thanks to many volunteers, our tent was manned by at least 3 members on each shift over the four days. Great interest was shown by the golfing public and many, including juniors, enjoyed swinging a hickory club in our hitting bay. Charlie Earp was on hand to provide instruction to young and old. Many unaware that they were receiving a lesson from the coach of Greg Norman, Wayne Grady, Corinne Dibnah and many other famous golfers .
