Queensland Hickory Foursomes Championships — 2022
This year the State Foursomes Championship was held separately to the singles championship. Nine pairs competed on Monday 8 August 2022 at the Royal Queensland links for the trophy and title of State Hickory Foursomes Champion. The course was in formidable condition with fast greens and what could only be described as the most difficult pin positions — a true test of hickory golf.
The 2022 Champions are Bradley Tatnell and Ilija Soldan with a gross 79 (net 74). Ilija has followed his good form after recently winning the Queensland Hickory Championship.
Second in the gross event were Jason Norris and Hamilton with 82 (76). Third were Ivan Hodges and Ross Bishop 90 (81).
Net winners were David Jones and Mervyn Ross with a net 76, followed by Norris and Hamilton with a net 76 and P Akes and M Akes with net 78.
We thank our handicapper Rob Kink-Scott for keeping the handicaps up to date and Ross Bishop for setting up the course.
