Monthly Event - April 2022
A field 16 teed it up on Friday 29 April at Royal Queensland for the April event.
The highlight of the day was Bruce Collins' Hole in One on the 11th. With the sun directly in the players eyes nobody was sure where the well hit ended up. A quick search revealed the ball in the bottom of the cup. Congratulations Bruce.
It didn't stop there for Bruce...he carried on with the good ball striking and returned 24 Stableford Points to win the day.
New member Dennis Farmer from Pine Rivers joined us for the first time and was lucky enough to be in Bruce Collins group to share the fun of a Hole in One. Welcome Dennis.
2 other members we have not seen since the start of COVID also joined the field. John O'Shea and Max Misso travelled from Redcliffe to play. It is good to see these members returning and we hope to see them more often.
It wasn't all about Bruce and some other good scores were returned. Second place went to Denis Brosnan with 18 points and third went to the always consistent Bradley Tatnell on a countback from Chris Cooper.
