Monthly Event - March 2022
A strong field 13 teed it up on Friday 25 March at Royal Queensland for the March event. After the cancellation of the February event members were keen to make the most of the hot and sunny conditions..
As usual the course presented beautifully and it is a credit the grounds staff at RQ considering only a couple weeks previous much of the course was inundated by flood waters.
New member Robert Ormsby joined us and Michael Akes travelled from Toowoomba to compete. With the return of cooler weather we hope for increased field numbers in the next few months.
Secretary Philip Akes had a day out and carded the winning score of 23 points. Second place on a countback was Ross Bishop with 17 points and third place went to Bradley Tatnell.
Trophies were donated by Arthur O'Shea.
