Monthly Event - 31 March 2023

Today’s event was 9 hole single stableford competition.  5 players competed. 

A small but dedicated group enjoyed fine Brisbane weather and a magnificently presented Brisbane Golf Club for the April Monthly event.

Numbers were down due to many HGQ members travelling to Adelaide for the inaugural South Australian Hickory Open (separate report on this event in the Hickory News section of the website). As usual the event was  full of camaraderie with BGC and HGQ members Bruce Collins, Al Grieve, David Mansfield and Greg Mellifont and welcoming new member Richard Garnham to his second hickory event.

Bruce had a narrow win over Al with Richard filling the podium. David and Greg rounded out the scoring.
