Monthly Event - 3 March 2023
Today’s event was 9 hole single stableford competition. 16 players competed.
Also, we were pleased to have 2 ladies players Di Charlton and Robin Wilson enjoying the afternoon.
Opening hole was 10 and with a strong easterly was quite a challenge for most players .
Hole 11 presented no problem for Bradley who putted brilliantly from 50ft for his first birdie on the day. Bradley repeated this fine effort on hole 14.
Congratulations also to Di Charlton first time playing with Hickory who had a par 4 on the difficult 13th. Well done Di.
Our thanks again to Royal Queensland Golf Club for their continued support of our great game.
Special thanks also to our hard working management team especially Rob, Phil and Ross who do so much work behind the scene to make our golf days so enjoyable…much appreciated.
Wonderful also to have our patron Charles join the post-game gathering a man that we all love and respect ... good on you Charlie.
The winner of today’s event was Bradley with a great round of 20 pts…well done Brad.
2nd place was shared by David Jones and Di with 15pts. Of David we have come to expect nothing less than excellent play.
