Carnegie Clarke Trophy — 2024
It was a delightful day although a little overcast when six players competed for the coveted Carnegie Clarke Driver at Royal Queensland Golf Club on Friday 9 August 2024 . Three ladies competed for the Carnegie Clarke Putter.
The winner of the event was Rob King-Scott with 35 points, in second place was Bradley Tatnell with 33 points with Ross Bishop on 29 points. Diana Charlton won the putter with 26 points followed by Kim Storie with 23 points. The Governor of Queensland presented both trophies to the winners at the Heritage Day lunch on Sunday 11 August.
It is a pity that this prestigious event which is confined to R Q members cannot attract a larger field.
