Match Report - 5th monthly event of the year

This months event was scheduled as the annual 5 club challenge.  The secretary was neglectful in his duties and forgot to advise members of the constraints of the competition and as such the majority of the field turned up with their normal bag full of sticks.  To those members who played with only 5 clubs, apologies from the Secretary and congratulations for reading the rules.

Forgetting about the administrative issues for a moment...the conditions for the event were typical Brisbane winter at RQ...Sublime!  In spite of the conditions only 9 players turned out for the event.

Congratulations go to Bradley Tatnell, who read the rules and played a great round to return a score of 20 points with only 5 clubs in his bag.  Second place went to Bruce who returned with 17 points and Di Charlton took third place with 16 points on a count-back from Peter (5 point) Egan.

Only 1 person managed a 4 pointer in May.  Greg Cooper picked up his 2nd 4 pointer of the year on the difficult 8th hole.
