Spring has sprung and condition are warming up at Royal Queensland. The course is being prepared for the upcoming Australian PGA. The sublime conditions made for a very enjoyable afternoon of Hickory golf.
Due to some last minute cancellations the field was reduced to only 11 starters. New convert to hickory golf, Dwi Devine returned with a friend and the group welcomed Janette Lee Lim to hickory for the first time. Both girls went to a lot of trouble getting dressed for the occasion and left some of the field feeling a little sartorially challenged.
Peter Kyffin took the honours with 18 points followed by Peter Egan in second place also with 18 points. Third was went to Dwi Devine also with 18 points.
The Player of the Year competition is hotting up with only the November event left for players to add to their cumulative points tally.

David Jones scored an eagle 2 on 8 to record a 5 pointer.
Peter Egan and Roger Gibson also collected a golf ball for their 4 pointers.
